In-House Production Manager
The Production Manager will be responsible for the management of production logistics as they relate to Herzog & Company. This position will support the Production Department and it's Creative, Digital, and Original productions. The work is varied and each project may be different.
Essential Functions
Under the supervision of the Exec Producer and/or Line Producer, the Production Manager coordinates, facilitates, and oversees the preparation and execution of all slated projects.
Manage off-set and on-set logistics included but not limited to day to day production decisions, best practice, rate and cost negotiations, locations, budgets, schedules, and personnel.
Support both field and in-house productions, ensuring the production complies with health and safety regulations, Union or Non-Union requirements, and insurance terms
Supervise the production team, including it's production assistants, production coordinators, or other production office staffers.
Support the Production and Accounting teams with various office and administrative responsibilities (start work, time cards, check requests, petty cash, amex reconciliations, deal memos, agreements, releases)
Collaborate with Operations and Post-Production teams to ensure production assets have been secured and organized.
Additional duties as assigned.
3+ years of experience in a production office field and/or field.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Excellent organization and client communication skills, along with strong time management abilities.
Experience with Covid compliance and crew testing.
Proficient in Google Workspaces.
