We're a very busy entertainment marketing office that is seeking a highly motivated and focused assistant with Final Cut Pro editing skills who is eager to learn. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the agency side of entertainment marketing. This is not a temporary in-between job so please do not apply if you're not seeking long term employment or if you do not have Final Cut Pro experience.
The ability to be taught programs quickly and follow through with information with minimal supervision is critical. Must be proactive worker with an ability to prioritize and independently handle tasks. Deadline oriented, high comprehension, strong follow up skills and proven attention to detail is essential.
We work with all kinds of scripts from Rated G to Rated R content so the easily squeamish or prudish might not be the best fit. If you are a self starter and have a positive attitude we would love to hear from you. This is a fun environment and the right candidate will laugh plenty, but the position absolutely demands results, energy, thick skin and self-motivation.
* Final Cut editing ability is required (Final Cut Pro edition 7.0.3) If you do not have this skill please do not apply for this position.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative capacity
• Thorough knowledge of PCs and management of computer inventory required
• Proof correspondence
• Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel
• Excellent time management skills
• Exercise independent judgment in the resolution of administrative problems
• Show good judgment and initiative in selecting the most effective work methods and tools and pro-actively identify opportunities to improve productivity for the team
• Superior oral and written communication skills are imperative
• Excellent telephone etiquette

• Update company database on a daily basis
• Build lasting relationships with clients and studio contacts
• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments
• Coordinate placements for TV and Film
• Ability to cold call productions and pitch client products
• Generate monthly and semi-annual excel reports
• Assist coworkers and company owners with any of their needs
• Maintain company warehouse inventory by organizing products, taking and uploading photos to HERO's client slideshows, ordering inventory when it starts to get low
