Vice President, Social & Editorial Operations - Hello Sunshine
Location: Los Angeles, CA, or New York, NY (Hybrid)
Hello Sunshine is seeking a highly talented Vice President of Social and Editorial Operations to lead content strategy, build multi-channel content plans, and oversee a team of content creators, strategists, and community managers. This role focuses on growing engagement with fans and followers while bringing Hello Sunshine's stories to life in creative and authentic ways.
Responsibilities:
• Develop multi-channel campaign, content, and social engagement strategies to drive success for brand clients across various categories
• Manage a team of content creators, strategists, and community managers for efficient content development
• Direct the creative team in building social-first content that drives audience engagement and growth
• Identify and utilize audience insights and platform data to develop strategic editorial plans
• Build partnerships with social media platforms to establish Hello Sunshine as a key partner
• Use social listening tools to develop audience intelligence and personas for growth
• Pinpoint opportunities for multichannel content pillars, channel strategies, editorial programming, and paid media recommendations
• Build and execute ambassador programs and partner engagement tactics to expand editorial territories
• Guide the creation of social audits, playbooks, and strategic outputs
• Collaborate with cross-department teams to produce social plans aligned with company objectives
• Stay updated on audience trends, industry news, and emerging platforms (AR/VR, NFT, Web3, Metaverse)
Requirements:
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience with deep knowledge of audience growth, content strategy, and social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Discord)
• Experience managing multi-channel social programs and cross-platform teams
• Passion for learning, team building, and fostering a people-first leadership approach
• Strong copywriting experience with the ability to maintain brand tone and voice
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Experience managing complex social calendars and tracking KPIs to make data-driven recommendations
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions
• Proven track record as a solution-oriented strategic thinker and creative collaborator
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $175,000 - $220,000
