Brand Strategy Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager of Brand to help execute on the brand strategy and vision for our company in 2026 and beyond. Working closely with the SVP and VP, this role is responsible for leading consumer-facing marketing efforts across Hello Sunshine and Reese's Book Club, and will require a candidate with a strong background in marketing and campaign launch execution within the entertainment space. They will play a central role in identifying opportunities for growth and brand alignment across our company and implementing the strategies to make it happen. An ability to tap into both creative and analytics is essential as this person will need to ensure that the visual identity we establish on projects serves our broader KPI goals. With a hand in helping the brand come to life across the org, the senior manager will have a visible and meaningful impact on the business as well as the opportunity to lead major projects that speak to Hello Sunshine's mission and values.
Responsibilities include:
• Putting the overarching marketing and creative strategies for Hello Sunshine into action across our channels, promotions, partnerships, events and community building tactics, acting as the centerstone of all teams to ensure deliverables are executed on
• Partnering with the creative team to develop briefing materials that inform the visual identity of our campaigns
• Overseeing the book marketing/promotional aspects of the Reese's Book Club monthly book pick campaigns by reading the books, supporting publisher relations, solidifying the promotional plans and working with internal teams to execute (coordinating shoots if applicable)
• Relationship building and management with RBC authors as part of organic marketing initiatives
• Developing editorial strategy for Hello Sunshine and Reese's Book Club, maintaining a deep understanding of the customer experience, sales goals and social elements, defining the vision for how our brand rolls out across O&O channels and handling the approvals process for relevant creative deliverables
• Managing the day-to-day needs of our Hello Sunshine podcast, The Bright Side, including communications with our audio partners and our internal partnerships teams, facilitating talent bookings where needed, reviewing episode prep documents and providing feedback on final audio, ensuring social promotion is on track and being delivered on, and running relevant meetings
• Working closely with our analytics team to synthesize available performance data and provide recommendations on how we optimize our efforts on a rolling basis - this includes running meetings that take teams through these findings and how it should impact ongoing projects and growth tactics
• Supporting our partnerships teams across the org by providing brand POV, attending brainstorm meetings, supplying creative concepts/ideas and assisting with campaign execution that fulfills partner needs and reflects the brand positively
• Collaborating with internal teams to develop our larger commerce strategy
• Managing marketing tools and vendors (Klaviyo and/or email marketing platform experience preferred)
• Expanding audiences and channel growth outside of RBC book picks and partnerships
• Owning marketing KPI's, tracking and reporting on performance
Who You Are
• You are extremely self-motivated and performance driven - you thrive on seeing the impact of your work and know how to use data to quantify its success, identifying areas for improvement, and telling a story to various stakeholders across the organization
• You are comfortable working in an incredibly fast-paced environment, are not easily overwhelmed and are acquainted with juggling multiple projects at once
• You are a team player with a positive attitude and a knack for building relationships with co-workers across teams and disciplines
• You are a book lover at heart, and have the desire and ability to read Reese's book picks to ensure marketing success (in general, you are an avid reader and well versed in #BookTok and bookish trends)
• You have a strong point of view and can see the bigger picture, even while working intimately on individual campaigns, however big or small
• You have incredibly strong writing skills and proven experience writing in a consistent tone of voice for a brand
• You can articulate feedback in a way that is understood by creative and editorial teams and can translate strategic objectives into actionable steps
• You stay current on market trends and competitive activity - you have a finger on the pulse of the entertainment industry
• You are comfortable utilizing performance data to build stronger strategies and campaigns
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all levels across the organization
Requirements
• 6 years of marketing and brand strategy experience; preferably from an agency or entertainment brand (ideally talent led)
• Experience working on cross-functional teams within complex org structures
• You are well versed in social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, You Tube Shorts, etc., and have practical experience on how content is distributed and consumed on those platforms
• Experience within the book publisher space is preferred
The pay for this role is between $90,000-$120,000
