Search for Royalty and Publishing Administrator jobs in Glendale-CA
Heavy Hitters Music Group, a Music Publishing and Song Catalog seeks a full-time Royalty, Publishing and Administration individual with a minimum of 3-5 years of domestic and international royalty collection experience, as well as music publishing administration experience.
Primary responsibilities will involve incoming & and outgoing statement processing, royalty and income collection and tracking, as well as licensing and administrative support for sync licensing activities.
Core Responsibilities:
• Processing of incoming royalty statements from a variety of sources including Sync and Master licensing, sub publishing, royalty and revenue from digital distribution, streaming service platforms and YouTube
• Writer and Artist agreements - Preparation and tracking
• Generation of outgoing writer, composer and client royalty statements
• Royalty reconciliation and income tracking
• Catalog registration with societies, sub publishers and the U.S. Copyright Office
• Updating administration databases
Additional Responsibilities:
Some administrative support to senior management relating to artist/catalog promotional efforts and business accounts.
Skills:
A general understanding of music publishing and copyright
Aptitude for Excel and data analysis
Ability to conduct research independently and effectively and to present concise analysis
Knowledge of and interest in Film and TV Sync Licensing and Music Publishing
Organized and detail-oriented
Pluses:
Familiarity with Simply Royalties, Filemaker Pro, CWR, Copyright as it pertains to music licensing.
