Position: Local Sales Assistant
Reports To: General Sales Manager
Job Description:
KHBS KHOG TV is looking for an organized, detail-oriented team player with exceptional written and verbal skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. A positive attitude and professional demeanor is essential along with the flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment. Individual will work closely with the sales team to ensure effective placement of sales activity. Specifically, you'll work with the sales force on processing advertising contracts, obtaining creative materials, generating support materials for sales team, and coordinating the scheduling and launch of advertising campaigns. This is a great opportunity in a growing organization for someone who is able to maintain a high level of accuracy and remain calm under pressure. Job Responsibilities:
• Build presentation packages and other collateral as needed for our sales effort
• Pull sales reports and work with Excel to better refine data
• Collaborate with other sales managers on projects when needed
• Assist sales team with order entry and revisions
• Manage sales projects and client events
• Manage on-line contests and work with our contest vendors
• Provide backup to others assistants
• Manage CMR data for sales department
Experience Requirements:
• Sales or administrative assistant preferred but not required.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Computer skills with extensive knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to learn and adapt to software applications.

• Telephone and Electronic communication etiquette
• Time management skills
Education:
• High School graduate
• College preferred but not required
• Classes in marketing, advertising or organizational management are a plus.
