Full Time Job
The Regional Accounting Manager works with region and station personnel to accurately report and forecast monthly financial results for stations located within the region. The position is involved in the preparation and analyses of the station's annual operating budget and various monthly reports to include variance analysis and reconciliations. A successful candidate must possess the ability to manage multiple projects and will be responsible for timely and accurate support of all regional initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Posts data to various ledgers, journals and reconciliations
• Responsible for monthly and annual financial close, including related reports
• Review accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations, make correcting entries when needed
• Prepare, maintain control and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts
• Prepare account analysis and reconciliations
• Assist in preparation of station's monthly forecasts and annual budget
• Contribute to fixed asset management/ depreciation
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements:
• 5 years of accounting experience
• Highly detail oriented
• Handle confidential information with discretion
• Great work ethic and collaborative style
• Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize work flow and meet assigned deadlines
• Self-motivated with a track record of managing multiple projects to completion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion and Wide Orbit a plus
Education:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
