Full Job Description
WJCL, the ABC affiliate in Savannah, GA, is looking for an Assistant Creative Services Director. You will help lead a team of writers, producers, and editors responsible for station promotional and marketing content. Reporting to the Creative Services Director, you will be responsible for developing creative strategy, implementing brand messaging, and managing production timelines and staff collaboration across on-air and digital channels.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Creative Services Director on strategies to increase brand awareness
• Build and produce promotional content for on-air and digital news/programming
• Oversee, schedule, and mentor the creative team on daily production and brand initiatives
• Write, shoot, and edit promotional content, including image campaigns, news, and topical spots
• Coordinate and execute special projects
• Produce and manage targeted social media marketing
• Maintain daily inventory for on-air and digital logs
• Attend community events or meetings to support promotional efforts
• Implement station brand strategies across media platforms
