VIDEO PROJECT COORDINTOR
Do you ever watch a commercial and think, ''I could have written something WAY better than that!''
Do you love writing scripts, telling stories, and helping clients grow their business? Do you have impeccable grammar, and a passion for marketing? Do you ever scroll TikTok and think, ''We could make these ads look so much more interesting and real.'' Do you love office work, spreadsheets, and long email chains discussing whether a shoot can go for a fifth hour to accommodate a drone sequence? This position will work with sales leaders at Hearst Newspapers to coordinate up to 600 video projects annually for our clients across 46 properties.
This role engages all parts of your personality – creativity, organization, people skills as this is client-facing and sometimes technical work, coordinating production and writing scripts yourself. And, while we're a lot of fun to work with, our projects are even more fun. Just ask us about our Top Gun Real Estate commercial or our Porcupine Car Dealer scripts!
