What is the Hearst Video Fellowship Program?
This fellowship program supports multimedia storytelling in an increasingly changing digital journalism world. Hearst Fellows are temporary full-time employees and will work in Hearst's digital-first newsroom in San Antonio.
• Objective: Immerse early-career video journalists or content creatives in our newsrooms to develop skills in video production, editing, and visual storytelling.
• Target Audience: Early-career video storytellers, including recent college graduates, seeking to gain newsroom experience.
• Program Goals: Gain valuable newsroom experience, receive training, and develop a portfolio of published videos.
Eligibility
This program is intended for up-and-coming journalists with less than three years of experience. Recent college graduates with a demonstrated interest in video storytelling are welcome to apply.

• Produce and edit two original videos each week that are 90 seconds or less in length, plus one longer form (2 minutes) video upon completion of the program.

• Assist with promotion of videos as needed across news brand's site and social channels.
• Provide own transportation to any necessary video shoots as approved by editors.
