Mailer Trainee
The Times Union Packaging Department is looking for qualified individuals for night shifts. Candidates must be able to repeatedly, and for long periods of time, stand, lift and load stacks of inserts, weighing up to 35 pounds into packaging machinery. Exposure to paper dust and constant machine noise is expected. Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or GED, have reliable transportation and are able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
These are part-time, union positions of up to 28 hours per week.
Pay starts at $15.00 per hour and progresses up to $19.85 per hour with training and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, 401K and free parking.
