Sr Manager, Brand Marketing, Hearst Digital Media
Hearst Magazines Digital Media is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to craft and share go-to-market general presentations and materials, develop internal and external communications including newsletters, as well as produce internal events to educate and engage Hearst employees around our messaging and best practices. The position is also key team member on production of external industry events and summits to grow relationships with our advertising partners. This is a critical role that requires a generalist – someone who can write well, manage varied projects, and help with producing external and internal events and summits.
With 27 digital media brands including Cosmopolitan.com, ELLE.com, Esquire.com, GoodHousekeeping.com, and Delish, Hearst Magazines Digital Media is made up of premium digital media brands people love and trust. The goal of the Industry Marketing team (part of the Hearst Media Solutions corporate sales and marketing team) is to inform, educate and engage current and possible advertisers about our digital capabilities and our talent, to bring our strong creative portfolio of work to life, and to create connections with our audiences – all to power growth in revenue across Hearst Magazines.
This position interfaces with senior executives throughout HMDM and Hearst Magazines, and the successful candidate must be comfortable working with all levels of colleagues across many teams in service of varied projects.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
• Craft presentations for sales leadership on our strategic vision, capabilities, case studies of programs that work and why
• Produce client/agency events such advertiser summits, editorial panels, agency activations, etc.; develop plans, budgets, materials and execute
• Help create presentations and other creative materials for events (i.e. presentations and event pitches, invitations, and signage -- working with our creative studio team)
• Be a leader for sharing information across the organization – best practices,
• Produce internal events including national sales meetings, international executive summits, and employee all hands events
• Work with the head of digital sales training on materials and events to support building the digital skillset across the company
• Other special projects as they arise
Qualifications:
• 3 years marketing, online media, or agency experience
• Excellent writer
• Understanding of media brand storytelling and how to communicate unique value propositions in a crowded marketplace
• Proficient in Keynote
• Event and project management experience
• Strong collaboration skills
• Highly organized
• Excellent communicator, and you're comfortable whether meeting in person, on the phone, or via Slack
• Ability to work independently and through others
• Roll up sleeves mentality with a customer-centric attitude
• Self-starter with strong team ideals and an entrepreneurial spirit
• Integrated Marketing experience a plus
