is looking for a dynamic Senior Production Manager with strong
multitasking
skills to act as the production management point person across video
with a
focus on supporting our centralized video team
Responsible for:
• Ensuring
producers are supported during the pre-production/production phases and
coordinating as needed
• Ensuring
productions stay on time and on budget
• Maintaining
a strong synergy between digital editorial, video, media management and
studio/equipment room teams – ensuring transparency and efficiency is
maintained through all productions
• Creative
development and producing as needed – ensuring creative integrity is balanced
with production needs/constraints
• Supporting
editorial video teams in finding and booking additional production crew
• Collaborating
with post production teams to ensure technical aspects of a shoot are
considered both before and during production
• Setting
and enforcing production best practices for audio and video capture
• Setting
and enforcing production best practices in collaboration with legal, talent
releases/location clearances, etc.
• Serving
as physical production point of contact within Hearst and for external contacts
• Plan and
organize production schedule for general/centralized video team
• Supervising
smaller video teams and junior staff
• Maintaining
and updating freelancer databases for production crew
Required Skills
and Experience:
• Generating
and maintaining production calendars/schedules
• Experience
of working with teams of varying scales and skillsets
• Ability
to quickly problem solve in an efficient and effective
• manner
• Experience
of working on technically specific/challenging shoots
• Existing
relationships with freelance producers, production crew
• and
equipment facilities
• Experience
working at a production company, linear/digital
• brand, or
agency supporting simultaneous productions and teams
• On
location and in studio producing and line producing
• experience
• Experience
creating and tracking show budgets
