CDS Global is our business process solutions provider that uses unique data and technology assets to support the entire consumer lifecycle of major publishers.
Our Media Platforms division is seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager, Ecommerce Marketplace, to manage building and scaling an e-commerce marketplace solution to support a unique media and commerce business for ShopBazaar. The Hearst Commerce Platform is a hybrid of content and commerce, leveraging 153 years of editorial authority. Our team works closely with boutique marketplace retail partners and 20 affiliate partners to bring consumers the very best products every season.
This position collaborates closely with the Director of Product Management for Commerce and works closely across divisions with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors. We invite you to bring your Product Management experience with e-commerce products, marketplace solutions, and drop-ship business flows as we all as your big-picture vision, drive and attention to detail to deliver that vision to market.
Here You Will:
• Define and execute a product roadmap aligned with business objectives, and supported by business cases, market research, customer data and competitive analysis
• Ensure delivery on the Hearst Commerce platform within the defined timeline, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
• Analyze, determine, and prioritize target customer, advertiser, end-user and internal stakeholders needs
• Document, validate and prioritize product specifications within an Agile/SCRUM development environment
• Coordinate go-to-market launch and post-launch activities. Prioritize and deliver necessary enhancements
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and execute improvements to the web/mobile experiences with a focus on business growth KPIs
• Ensure appropriate customer research, usability testing and rapid prototyping
• Create and maintain roadmaps/backlogs that can be shared throughout the organization at all levels, including executive reporting
• Create product development artifacts and ensure visibility and understanding across divisions
Bring You Your:
• 5 years in Internet/Web/Mobile product management, with expertise managing e-commerce, marketplace products
• Experience with e-commerce business functionalities such as drop-ship fulfillment, marketplaces, affiliate programs, product information systems,
• Proven track record of deliverability and ownership of successful products, owning the entire product lifecycle in a fast-paced, Agile environment
• Extensive cross-functional and senior stakeholder exposure and management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Articulation of product strategy and roadmap, structures problems at hand, experience in gaining alignment and presenting to senior executives
• Strategic approach in translating business objectives into clear product plans with timeline to execution
• Analytics and results oriented, defining, and prioritizing metrics to drive business outcomes
• Takes initiative
• Proven multi-tasker with ability to concurrently manage several initiatives under tight deadlines with ability to accommodate rapid changes
