Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
• Lead analytics projects across advertising products, contributing to analytics, data visualization, architecture, and strategic initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc and deep-dive analyses to support decision-making and uncover product opportunities.
• Translate complex data into clear, concise insights for stakeholders across product, engineering, sales, and strategy teams.
• Partner with engineering teams to shape and improve data architecture and ensure scalable, reliable pipelines.
• Support A/B testing by analyzing results and recommending actions to improve product performance.
• Design and develop dashboards and data visualizations to guide key business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data efforts with strategic goals.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in Product Analytics or related role.
• Preferred experience in the media/publishing industry with its unique audience data challenges and opportunities.
• Preferred strong understanding of market research and competitive intelligence.
• Preferred excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure).
• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis.
• Knowledge of data governance practices and data management best practices.
• This is a hybrid position based in New York City, with an in-office requirement of four days per week.
