This is a Full Time Job
Men's Health is seeking a full-time Senior Gear and Commerce Editor to join our team. This role reports to the Deputy Commerce Editor, and is responsible for the production of affiliate-driven coverage in the Tech & Gear section on MensHealth.com, as well as editing commerce content across the site. In addition to being a creative and ambitious self-starter, the ideal candidate has gear and tech expertise, and should be open to using data analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Trends to monitor and report monthly traffic and commerce goals, and identify new growth opportunities for the site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pitch and edit expert-backed shopping content across tech and gear
• Collaborate with centralized commerce team for tentpole shopping events throughout the year
• Work closely the Deputy Commerce Editor to develop commerce strategies
• Support Men's Health's Awards Programs
• Mentor junior commerce editors and freelancers
QUALIFICATIONS
• At least four years of writing experience, and one year of editing experience in digital media-with a particular emphasis on commerce content
• You have a demonstrated interest in tech and gear
• Top-notch organization and communication skills; well-versed in building strong relationships with internal collaborators
• Willingness to analyze data from multiple sources to inform Men's Health's commerce strategy
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
