Your impact:
Delish is searching for an enterprising and creative Senior Food Producer & Host . As part of the Food Team, the candidate will be responsible for managing and producing cooking and kitchen-focused videos for the site and social platforms, developing recipes and serving as an on-camera host. The ideal candidate should be comfortable on camera, have experience producing food (including instructional) videos, be an endless source of ideas, know their way around a test kitchen, and be able to speak with expertise to a variety of culinary subjects. This role is also responsible for sourcing food video talent and producing shoots. The candidate should be hyper-organized, detail-oriented, and have a keen visual eye. Wha t you'll do:
• Pitch food videos and series for all Delish platforms
• Produce and/or host cooking videos on all Delish platforms
• Develop recipes, cook and style recipes on camera, and collaborate with video editors to edit the final video
• Execute SEO videos and video updates as assigned
• Serve as a key collaborator across both the Food and Video teams
• Pitch fre elancers, restaurants, and personalities to collaborate with
• Collaborate with associate food producer
Who you are:
• A food-obsessed culinary producer with a passion for creating both creative and educational food content that the Internet loves
• Hold a professional culinary degree, or at least 5 years experience in test kitchen, restaurant, or other fast-paced kitchen setting
• Dialed in to food trends and seasonality
• Someone who has a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
• Have a commitment to respectfully providing context for recipes
• A team player and lover of fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Organized, proactive, and can stay on top of deadlines and shifting priorities
