This is a Full Time Job
Hearst Magazines is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the SVP, Head of Industry, Home & Design and the category sales team with special projects.
The ideal candidate must be able to juggle multiple requests and operate with poise and grace under pressure. The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, have excellent communication skill and possess a positive, can-do spirit. You have strong project management skills to deliver on special projects to support the larger category sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do:
Administrative Duties
• Proactively manage the SVP's schedule throughout the day, ensuring they are prepared in advance for meetings; confirm appointment times, location and attendees
• Arrange and coordinate meetings and events; schedule reservations and assist with booking travel, proactively manage travel
• Manage expenses; complete and submit expense reports monthly
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality around all information and activity they are privy to, recognizing that they represent a senior leader of the Sales Department
Special Projects Such As
• Compile editorial reports and own editorial needs for the category; act as liaison to multiple editorial teams
• Own category sales reporting (working in DOMO, sales reporting system) and bring strategic analysis to SVP and Category leads
QUALIFICATIONS

• Master of administrative skills in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Strong time management skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• High-level energy and self-starter
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong calendar management and extensive travel skills required
• Must be proactive and solution oriented
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-3 years of experience, with interest in media/advertising
Based in New York, NY hybrid in-office schedule.
