Sales Assistant, Harper's Bazaar and Elle

This is a Full Time Job

Harper's Bazaar and Elle Magazines are
looking for a Sales Assistant to support two Associate Publishers. The ideal
candidate is hard-working, energetic, and
detail-oriented.

Responsibilities
include but are not
limited to:
• Run
sales performance reports and maintain them on a regular basis

• Create sales
materials/presentations for me/Digital Marketing and also tracking
competitive campaigns.

• Create call prep including putting
together media kits, competitive analysis, etc

• Manage RFP submissions

• Handle day to day client requests
such as mailings

• Update competitive business reports
including share of market and positioning

• Maintain comp list

• Complete expense reports

• Miscellaneous administrative tasks
such as filing, ordering catering for client meetings, office supply
management

Requirements/Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor's
degree
• Minimum 1 internship in a corporate
environment within a media company with exposure to ad sales or marketing;
magazine or ad agency experience a plus
• Strong technical skills, including
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Salesforce or Media Radar experience a
plus
• Excellent communication skills via
email, phone and in-person
• Self-starter with strong organizational
skills, attention to detail and follow-through
• Must be responsible, reliable and
punctual
