Sales Assistant, Fashion & Luxury
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)

Join our dynamic Fashion & Luxury sales team as a Sales Assistant and play a key support role across some of the most iconic brands in the industry. This entry-level opportunity offers hands-on experience in multi-platform media sales and the chance to grow your career at one of the world's leading media companies.
Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
• Respond to client inquiries related to inbound advertising requests
• Serve as a liaison between Hearst clients and the Fashion & Luxury sales team
• Coordinate with internal departments for tasks including positioning, invoice requests, marketing, and research
• Accurately complete advertising RFPs (Requests for Proposal)
• Manage client-facing communications, including mass email blasts
• Partner with business managers to process insertion orders and manage key paperwork
• Prepare competitive share-of-market reports and analysis
• Monitor industry news and trade publications to support client prospecting
• Manage monthly sales expenses and assist with travel arrangements
• Support administrative duties such as magazine mailings and supply orders
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
• Proactive, intellectually curious, and eager to grow in the media industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, with demonstrated interest in media, advertising, or fashion
• Hybrid role based in our New York City office (3 days per week in person)
