Your Impact
Are you client-focused, self-motivated, and have the ability to establish strong working relationships at all levels within the organization? Hearst Magazines is looking for a dynamic Recruiter who will be responsible for finding top talent and managing a full life cycle recruiting process for multiple Hearst Magazine properties. You will work closely with our team of dedicated recruiters and hiring managers in the creation, optimization and tracking of all phases of recruiting.
What You'll Do
• Manage 10 open, full time requisitions encompassing multiple departments and disciplines
• Strategically source candidates for roles in Creative, Production, Product Design, and other verticals as needed
• Develop recruitment strategies based on the requirements of open requisitions and hiring managers
• Leverage multi-channel sourcing solutions to develop a diverse pipeline of candidates for future job openings (LinkedIn, industry and recruitment networking, job postings, candidate databases, employee referrals, social media, etc.)
• Partner with hiring managers and interview teams on recruiting best practices process, interview assessment capabilities and building talent pipelines
• Prequalify and pre-screen candidates for presentation to hiring managers
• Create and execute a full life-cycle recruiting process, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
• Evangelize the company, ensuring potential employees are excited about working at Hearst Magazines
• Act as career coach advising candidates and hires on the best path for their skill sets and mix of experiences
• Maintain requisition and applicant activity and status in web-based applicant tracking system per regulatory and company guidelines.
Qualifications
• 1-2 years' experience recruiting in a high-volume recruiting environment across all levels
• Experience recruiting top tier talent using diverse and creative sourcing methods
• Proven experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced recruiting environment
• Prior experience recruiting at a media company, advertising agency or design firm
• High level of initiative and autonomy, with the ability to work independently
• Able to adopt a collaborative approach within the team and with multiple stakeholders
• Able to build trusted and positive relationships at multiple levels of the organization
• Team player with the ability to build and maintain networks
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and interviewing skills
