GoodHousekeeping.com is seeking a skilled motion graphics designer and editor to join a growing team that's spearheading the video relaunch for one of Hearst Magazines' biggest lifestyle brands. Working as part of the brand's video team, you will have excellent opportunity to exercise creativity and ownership by executing fun and fresh graphics packages, plus flex your editing skills while working on recurring series and stand-alone productions. This role reports to the executive video producer and will work alongside Good Housekeeping's design department.
To be a viable candidate, you must have 2 to 4 years of professional experience in either a post-production or digital media environment where you picked up the workflows and skills necessary to produce high-quality content in an extremely fast paced environment. You should have solid, demonstrable experience as a smart, efficient multitasker who is skilled at working with Creative Suite products and across social media platforms. NOTE: Candidates who do not submit a resume in PDF format with a reel, work samples, and salary requirements will not be considered.
Qualifications:
• Ability to make creative design choices and adjustments, and to add titles and graphics within brand guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple After Effects projects in a short time frame.
• Ability to think laterally to creatively problem-solve design challenges under pressure.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and other Creative Suite products.
• Familiar with trends and formats for key social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge in the following areas is a plus: Cinema 4D, VR workflow and execution, color correction software, and DaVinci Resolve.
