The Role
Hearst is seeking a Marketing Manager to support its growing brand marketing and experiential business. The ideal candidate is the ultimate team player and an independent self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to collaborate with key stakeholders including editorial, events, social, PR, and third-party vendor/agency partners to ensure all new business development initiatives and events are being conceived, promoted, and executed at the highest level.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years marketing experience at a media, experiential, brand strategy agency, or similar company
• Experience executing successful marketing plans with proven ROI for high-profile brand initiatives and events
• Strong creative copywriting and communication skills
• Project management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in creating, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns is a plus
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with event production counterparts to create strategic marketing plans and manage timelines for multiple large and small-scale brand activations and consumer events
• Coordinate with event production, design, editorial, sales, PR, creative, and product teams to implement and track cohesive promotional plans leveraging internal and external digital, print, social channels
• Manage ticketing, invite lists, and consumer communications initiatives and schedules
• Build proposals and recap decks that communicate event and brand activations at the highest level
• Track marketing plan performance and provide recommendations for optimizations
• Manage the deployment of eblasts and schedule print pages to align with promotional efforts
• Create, execute, and track effectiveness of social media campaigns
