Your Impact
Hearst Magazines is looking for a Licensing Coordinator to support our dynamic and expanding Brand Development team in all licensing processes with a focus on day-to-day tasks and reporting. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager , you will play an integral role in supporting all licensing products for Hearst brands.
What you'll do
Project Management
• Develop launch timeline for new licensing deals, products, and/or projects
• Manage and categorize image library of various creative assets from each licensee
• Track progress and approvals for new product development
• Send scheduled follow up emails internally and externally for product development and endorsement licensing
• Collect relevant research data and develop presentations for internal and external reasons
Account Management
• Build and maintain business reports for product licensing and endorsement licensing
• Set up and attend business review meetings with licensees; distribute goals, agendas, and reference materials prior to the meeting
• Understand the licensing team's priority programs
• Regularly communicate with internal and external business partners for business updates
• Keep track of collecting quarterly projections
• Collect royalty reports and track payments by working with the finance department
• Manage key IP and URL registrations by working with the legal team
• Track and file licensing contracts
• Facilitate basic licensee requests - samples, creative assets, product images
• Participate in ideation and development of presentations, brand materials and pitches to internal and external teams
New Business
• Research rights for articles to grow film and TV business
• Collect data and research for new categories and prospects
Who you are
• You have a Bachelor's Degree
• You have 1-2 years relevant experience working in Project Management, Sales, Merchandising, Marketing or Brand Management
• You can present data in a clear, concise and easy to interpret manner
• You have excellent organizational skills and attention to details
• You are proficient with Google Drive applications/related software & Microsoft Office Suite
• You are familiar working with Google Analytics
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• You have data-driven analytical and problem-solving skills
• You are able to prioritize tasks well
• You can function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• You have excellent product sensibility and market/trend awareness
