As an International Fashion Manager, a newly created role working across ELLE and Harper's Bazaar, you will drive revenue across all platforms- print, digital, social, experiential for accounts with brands based in Germany, U.K., Spain and France. With 27 brands including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Men's Health and Car and Driver, you will be working alongside some of the best talent in the publishing world.
What you'll do
• Maintain and grow advertising revenue, new business and share-of-market
• Have extensive interaction with agencies and clients to determine key marketing objectives for all accounts
• Target a minimum of 10 outside calls weekly
• Proactively work with marketing team to create programs that go beyond reacting to RFP requests; create opportunities for presenting and selling customized cross platform programs.
• Use various sales aides, presentations, research, marketing and all resources to help effectively deliver sales message to clients
• Cross collaborate with marketing, corporate, production, finance and other teams within the team to ensure execution of programs and/or advertising campaigns
• Provide accurate and timely business reporting regarding estimates, forecasts and other internal reporting
• Keep relevant others informed (mgmt., split partners, etc.) regarding account status, proposals, etc.
• Prepare senior management for all international trips (this position will not travel internationally)
Who you are
• You have a minimum of 2-4 years of media experience (i.e. sales, agency or client experience)
• You have the ability to quickly identify new contacts and build new relationships
• You are innovative and entrepreneurial sales approach
• You are optimistic, can-do style that represents the spirit of the brands
• You have excellent presentation and organizational skills
• You have superior interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• You must be conversant in new technology (digital, social, and mobile)
• You can thrive in a fast-paced environment with grace under pressure
• You are an individual who works well within a corporate and creative environment
• You have a demonstrated ability to build positive and collaborative relationships
