Overview (Why This Role?)
ThePioneerWoman.com is looking for a seasoned food editor to join our team. The temporary food editor will work directly with the site's test kitchen director to steer recipe content for this fast-growing digital brand, with an eye for SEO and food trends.They will edit recipes and food explainers with precision and accuracy; attend still and video shoots for new and existing recipes; and create new content that our loyal readers and fans will love.

Key Responsibilities (What are you doing)
• Research digital food trends relevant to TPW audience and pitch recipe ideas and food packages
• Write optimized SEO recipe intros, including recipe keywords and hyperlinks, and compelling heds and deks
• Edit recipes and SEO intros written by freelancers and other staff
• Enter recipes into TPW content management system with an eye for accuracy and detail
• Monitor recipe comments on ThePioneerWoman.com
