RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic sales plan, driving key initiatives such as KPIs, forecasting, market expansion, and long-term profitability.
• Build, inspire, mentor, and manage high-performing teams in accolade sales and operations, promoting collaboration and innovation within the accolade licensing business.
• Cultivate strong, strategic relationships with editorial stakeholders to ensure optimal planning of resources and timely execution of each accolade.
• Stay ahead of the competitive landscape by identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends and lucrative market opportunities.
• Build and maintain key relationships with brands and PR firms purchasing multiple licenses, driving growth and engagement.
• Ensure performance accountability and effective management across the sales and operations teams, supporting a results-driven culture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with ad sales, finance, legal, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and support for business initiatives.
• Maintain expertise in the accolade licensing industry and continuously monitor market trends to inform business strategy.
• Manage financials related to sales, profit margins, and expansion, ensuring business goals are met within budgetary constraints.
• Understand company value and larger goals to align team's culture and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree
• 10 years of professional experience
• 3-5 years of experience managing multimillion-dollar accolade businesses with a proven track record of growth and success
• Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
• Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of logo or content licensing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and lead change in a fast-paced industry
