Hearst Luxury Collection is looking for a Digital Marketing Director to develop and execute marketing strategies across digital channels to support rapid business growth. This position will report into the Head of E-Commerce Operations and Strategy, and work closely with e-commerce, editorial, audience acquisition, and creative teams on channel growth, building new audience acquisition strategies, and developing CRM reporting. What you'll do:
• Manage email channel content and growth strategies, optimizing content, creative, timing and segmentation based on a data-backed testing plan
• Partner with editorial team to translate brand marketing calendar into cross-channel execution, including site, email, organic social, and paid channels
• Optimize and continuously improve email automated flows like post-purchase series, SCA series, and order-related email flows
• Drive engagement and revenue growth through consumer segmentation strategies
• Partner with e-commerce and audience acquisition teams to manage paid channels, including social, search, display, and affiliate
• Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to develop online and experiential marketing programs
• Manage proprietary targeting strategies in paid channels, optimizing and testing to support relevant business KPIs and goals
• Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting on marketing ad performance to cross-division stakeholders
• Build and develop new and underdeveloped marketing channels to reach new audiences and expand brand presence in new markets
• Identify and execute growth plans for affiliate and influencer programs, delivering programs from launch to analysis
• Build, execute, and optimize comprehensive CRM strategy
• Develop and implement strategies for driving customer retention and reporting, generating actionable consumer insights and metrics using CRM data
• Research industry competitive strategies, identifying and leveraging content marketing opportunities to grow our business
• Conduct competitive reviews and provide informed, data-driven and tested recommendations to editorial and creative teams
Who you are:
• You have 6-8 years of digital marketing experience in e-commerce, advertising, fashion/lifestyle retail preferred
• Demonstrated experience growing e-commerce businesses, with focus on strategies supporting conversion-focused KPIs as well as media engagement KPIs
• Experience driving revenue growth and customer acquisition through the implementation of innovative digital media strategies
• Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time and partnering across multiple internal and external teams, incorporating innovative and flexible problem-solving to ensure delivery and success
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Creative thinker with a flexible, approachable attitude with creative problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to challenges
• Analytics and results-oriented, defining and prioritizing metrics to drive business outcomes
• Deep understanding of social media and digital marketing practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience in influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders and defining operational success
• Knowledge of consumer behavior, with a demonstrated experience utilizing consumer research and data to inform marketing strategies
• Experience with marketing and analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Adwords, Facebook Ad Manager, Listrak, Rakuten, Skimlinks, Optimizely
