Digital Designer, Hearstmade

The HearstMade Studio is looking for a digital designer who thrives on using the latest technology to create beautiful and engaging digital experiences. The team at HearstMade, Hearst's branded content studio, loves to collaborate with creative directors, producers, copywriters, designers, and developers to turn raw assets and creative briefs into solutions that resonate. Designing creative that is uniquely integrated into our platform of iconic brands requires craft and precision, so a keen eye and a dedication to excellence is required! Responsibilities:

• Conceive and execute digital creative consistent with strategy
• Convert client assets into production-ready digital products
• Work with the creative director and the producer to deliver creative on time and to creative and technical standards
• Apply user-centric design principles to the creation of engaging digital experiences
• Manage multiple design/development projects with keen attention to detail

Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience in web design, graphic design, motion graphics, digital development, advertising, or relevant job history
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and CSS animation techniques
• Strong knowledge of KeyNote and other presentation platforms
• Bachelor's degree in design or related discipline preferred
• Portfolio of engaging work that showcases your ability to apply technology to create compelling design solutions
• Attention to detail and consistency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player
• Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to approach technical challenges with an open mind and a desire to innovate
