Oprah Daily seeks a talented, versatile Digital Design Director to create and oversee visuals for digital, social, and video. This position reports into the Creative Director and works collaboratively with art, photo, video, social, and editorial teams. You must be able to work at a high level while managing multiple projects. Primary experience in digital is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and manage the design of the daily digital site and social platforms
• Assign illustrations as needed
• Create templated series
• Work with product to optimize the user experience on the site
• Work in InDesign to create special projects
• Design Apple News original issues
QUALIFICATIONS
• At least seven years of professional content design experience
• Experience with UX, digital redesigns, and establishing visual identity
• Management experience
• Exceptional design sensibility and production skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Expert knowledge of Figma, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Woodwing
• Some print design experience helpful
This position is based in the NYC office a minimum of 3 days a week. No remote option.

Salary/Benefits
$116,000.00
- 120,000.00
per year
The base salary for this role is $116,000-$120,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
