Full Time Job
Oversee key circulation functions for rate base management. Support VP of Consumer Marketing and Executive Director on CRM efforts to increase email capture, improve renewals, and enhance customer service experience.
Core Circulation Responsibilities:
• Manage net paid circulation and oversee print orders for 23 titles (approximately 200/year) to ensure budget targets are met.
• Direct AAM reporting including twice yearly statement filing. Review and approve monthly Rapid Report submissions from Pubworx.
• Contribute to strategic studies for frequency and rate base optimization.
• Update and issue monthly Consumer Marketing statistical package for internal stakeholders, including Senior Management and Editors-in-Chief.
• Create and update a Circulation FAQ reference document for publishing teams.
Project Management:
• Email capture – assist in test execution, tracking and reporting of efforts to increase email collection through direct mail, renewals and in-book promotions.
• Support CRM efforts including execution of tests, plus implementation of new programs to increase subscriber engagement and loyalty.
• Customer Service Initiative – work with CDS on execution of new landing pages for all Hearst titles.
• Direct Mail – work with Pubworx on new creative development for test initiatives to drive more orders online and capture email addresses. Come up with new ideas for optimizing direct mail.
• Reporting – develop tracking reports to monitor and report on success of efforts including Email capture and CRM efforts to improve renewal metrics.
Requirements:
• 5 – 7 years relevant work experience. BA/BS degree.
• High-performing Excel user, plus Word and PowerPoint.
