The Consumer Privacy Program Manager owns the Hearst Magazines consumer privacy response program steady state operations. In this role, you will be responsible for processing every consumer privacy related consumer request (currently specifically for CCPA) that is submitted to Hearst Magazines in accordance with the guidelines laid out by Hearst Legal. You will also continue to develop and refine the CCPA process by working with both internal and external teams, as well as provide regular reporting and updates to senior management/key stakeholders. Working across multiple platforms and coordinating with various teams, you will ensure that Hearst Magazines is in full compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act and any consumer privacy law which follows.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the mailbox daily, including processing ads free cancellation requests and answering user questions regarding their CCPA rights, as well as handling non-CCPA inquiries such as magazine subscription cancellation requests and spam emails.
• Appropriately process all consumer requests (Print DNA, Global DNA, Access My Information, and Delete My Information) via the OneTrust platform within the timeframes set forth by Hearst Legal.
• Monitor the OneTrust platform for errors/bugs and troubleshoot with internal and external teams as needed to resolve.
• Lead bi-weekly OneTrust stand-up call to resolve ongoing issues, determine new action items, and drive forward progress.
• Generate MediaOS Summary Status report and send to key stakeholders via email and Slack every business day.
• Work with CDS Global, LTI, Pubworx, Mylo, and OneTrust teams, as well as Hearst Legal and Hearst Magazines leadership to continue to improve overall process
