The Casting Assistant will provide support in finding and securing talent for branded content programs. This includes influencer, celebrity, model, actor, in-house, and any other third-party talent.
This position will report to the Talent Director of HearstMade and will be responsible for researching talent, tracking talent deliverables, securing invoice paperwork, and managing communications between individual talent or agents and the HearstMade Production Team. Please note: Candidates must include their resume in .pdf or .doc format with salary requirements to be considered.
What You'll Do:
• Research sample talent for pre-sale proposals based on the specific goals and objectives of each RFP
• Ensure talent invoices and paperwork are received and processed in a timely manner
• Build talent decks and one-sheets
• Track talent deliverables and reporting on influencer social posts
• Monitor the digital content landscape and ongoing social media trends
• Communicate talent updates to the HearstMade Production teams
• Schedule in-person and remote casting sessions/auditions
Who You Are:
• You are proactive, organized, and self-motivated
• You understand the influencer landscape and have a finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends
• You are a quick thinker, flexible, and able to pivot as needed
• You embrace teamwork with a positive mindset
Preferred Experience:
• 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of social products and best practices across popular platforms (primarily Instagram and TikTok)
