Cosmopolitan.com is hiring an Associate Producer to join our video team! This person must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment and be able to balance multiple projects simultaneously. The right candidate will have a keen interest in creating engaging video content that offers a fresh, nuanced, and inclusive perspective to Cosmo's video presence. The position includes creating video on a wide range of topics, including social justice and politics, beauty, pop culture, relationships and more.

This role will report to the Supervising Producer.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop creative video series
• Research and gather archival material and statistics
• Schedule shoots and create call sheets
• Cast talent and book crew and locations for shoots
• Manage releases and production paperwork
• Create and monitor budgets
• Work with the video team to guide videos through the post production process

Requirements:
• 1-2 Years of professional experience in video production
• Positive attitude and ability to work calmly under pressure are essential!
• Bachelor's degree in video production, journalism, film or related field
• Knowledge of the digital video landscape and keen understanding of the competition
• Ability to organize, multitask, and coordinate last minute shoots
• Be able to communicate in a professional and engaging way in email and over the phone
• Willingness to be a team player and look for opportunities to be a helpful crew member
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and other Creative Suite products would be a huge plus.
