Hearst Magazine Media is looking for an Associate Manager of Content Partnerships to join our partnerships team. This person would manage video and audio relationships with partners such as YouTube/Google, Amazon and emerging platforms. Additionally, the Associate Manager will help evaluate and onboard new partners in areas such as video and audio/voice. They will have a keen understanding of business goals and the optimization strategies to achieve them.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a firm grasp of video content distribution and audio/voice platforms and should be highly organized, resourceful and eager to explore new opportunities. They must possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Manage relationships with key video/voice/audio partnerships, including YouTube, Amazon, and partners in the OTT space, helping maximize growth on all platforms.
• Responsible for maintaining excellent partner communications and relationship management while optimizing performance and identifying additional growth opportunities.
• Oversee reporting and insights across partners to maximize engagement and monetization.
• Work cross-functionally with editorial and other stakeholders, sharing partnership insights, best practices, implementing content strategy, and managing feedback between internal teams and partners.
• Collaborate with partner product teams on technical integrations, project scoping, and project management across video distribution initiatives and voice assistant experiences.
• Help identify and vet new partner prospects, working to outlining opportunities, lift and potential ROI.
• Create and execute plans for onboarding new partners, including technically spec review, coordination with internal teams and implementation and learning of new partner tools and reporting.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience working in partnerships, audience development, business development in publishing, digital or video space.
• Strategic thinker who can use data to drive business results.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with outlining basic partner business agreement terms.
• Exceptionally detail-oriented and adept at problem-solving.
• Strong familiarity with our media brands and content.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Analytics, Keynote.
