As Associate Fashion Editor, you'll help shape sophisticated fashion and jewelry storytelling for a discerning audience, supporting high-impact editorial projects while contributing original ideas across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities (What You're Doing)
• Support fashion and jewelry photo shoots and editorial projects by securing samples and coordinating logistics
• Manage fashion and jewelry market work, including calling in samples and maintaining strong relationships with PR agencies and brands
• Pitch, report, and write fashion and jewelry stories for Town & Country's digital platforms
• Oversee fashion closet assistants by organizing, logging, and packing samples for shoots
• Manage administrative tasks for the Fashion Director, including calendar scheduling and day-to-day coordination
• Process expenses and track invoices for the fashion department
• Collaborate cross-functionally with digital, photo, and social teams to bring stories to life
Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
• An ambitious writer or editor with experience in fashion editorial, market work, or a related field
• A strong communicator with an understanding of Town & Country's distinctive voice and point of view
• Deep knowledge of luxury fashion and jewelry brands, trends, and industry dynamics
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, collaborative, and professional approach in a fast-paced environment
• This role operates on a hybrid schedule and requires four days per week in the New York City office
