Hearst is seeking an Associate Director, Marketing & Account Strategy within its Fashion & Luxury Industry. With a focus on our American Fashion & Retail accounts, this role will work with a cross-disciplinary team of Hearst salespeople, campaign strategists, content studio professionals, and others to build marketing programs that grow revenue and margins while delivering powerful results for our clients. The Associate Director will join a team of American Fashion & Retail marketers who are responsible for the strategy and development of integrated marketing opportunities and programs, and building successful partnerships with salespeople, while also identifying prospects that can be approached proactively with compelling ideas that preempt the RFP process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Who You Are
• Distill client RFPs into smart and strategic marketing proposals
• Use data, insights, and research to build compelling and informed opportunities
• Conceptualize and develop partner-specific, cross-platform marketing programs, such as custom content and native executions, experiential activations, and direct marketing digital campaigns
• Ensure that all work meets the standards of Hearst brands, and all aspects of written, design, and execution are of the highest quality
• Manage day-today requests from sales/staff/management
• Manage project budgets and timelines
QUALIFICATIONS
What You'll Do
• Experience in both the strategic and executional aspects of proposal development
• Strong copywriting skills; experience writing proposal is a plus
• Resourceful; inclination to independently problem-solve before bringing questions to larger group
• Experience reading and understanding RFPs and media grids
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and juggling multiple priorities, and ability to operate in a team culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to influence and present to senior executives
• Analytic and strategic thinking skills
• Positive, ''can-do'' attitude
• Understanding of/interest in Hearst editorial products and the Fashion & Luxury industries are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Google Suite
• Minimum 6 years of related experience
