Ad Product Data Analyst, Hearst Digital Media
Hearst Magazines Digital Media is looking for an Ad Product Data Analyst. This role will be responsible for analytics and insights into Hearst's ad product pipeline as well as assessing new opportunities. This position will report into the Executive Director of Ad Product.
Responsibilities:
• Provide continuous reporting and business insights for Hearst Ad Product
• Analyze and identify trends across Hearst product suite (closed/lost, revenue generation v. pitched, category successes, etc.)
• Responsible for developing and maintaining automated reporting infrastructure to provide continuous insights to key stakeholders
• Establish product lifecycle milestones and retirement criteria
• Apply quantitative techniques and systems to drive sales and marketing effort optimization and unlock new revenue opportunities
• Own communication and reporting of product revenue and yield trends to senior leadership
• Discover and report out on product trends within Hearst including brand, vertical, product and site analysis
Qualifications:
• Education: BA/BS in business, mathematics, statistics, advertising or related field
• 1-2 years of analytics experience (digital advertising experience preferred)
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and with a proven ability to handle multiple deliverables with tight deadlines
• Experience with Salesforce reporting a plus
• Experience with online advertising platforms a plus (DFP, DBM, Salesforce, AppNexus, STAQ, DOMO)
• Data driven thinking, excellent quantitative skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong project management skills preferred
• Power user of Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
