Full Time Unpaid Internship
The Macro Strategy team focuses on the development and execution of business strategies across all WarnerMedia Sales and Distribution revenue streams including Network Distribution, Content Licensing, Home Entertainment, Ad Sales and the Otter Media properties. As a part of this team, you will work on transforming our business model in areas that include network distribution and optimization, valuation of IP across evolving distribution windows, and evaluating new revenue and growth opportunities in transition from wholesale to retail.
The Daily
• Work within the macro strategy team on researching, developing, and presenting various revenue generation strategies across Network Distribution, Content Licensing, Home Entertainment and Ad Sales from a consumer-first perspective
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (Network Distribution, Content Licensing, Home Entertainment, Ad Sales and the Otter Media properties) on analyzing and synthesizing all of the key impacts of these strategies.
• Attend virtual meetings to develop an understanding of the various Stakeholder needs, Network brands and current business models.
• Deep trend analysis across key business areas
Monitor competitor and industry trends on changes across the DTC and existing ecosystems
Collaborate on special projects
The Essentials
• Student must be currently enrolled in an MBA program.
• Passion for all things media and entertainment as well as a consumer-first mindset Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to conceptualize, structure, and build plans for businesses and new ventures Strong analytics and financial modeling skills, with an aptitude for data-driven decision making
• Comfortable with ambiguity/uncertainty
