The Opportunity
Join the team behind the promotional engine powering one of the most iconic brands in entertainment. As Coordinator, Promo Scheduling Operations, you'll play a vital role in the seamless planning, delivery, and scheduling of ancillary content across HBO and HBO Max platforms. This position offers a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of linear and digital streaming operations-supporting both traditional broadcast and cutting-edge digital experiences.
You'll support the scheduling and operational workflow for promotional assets, ensuring strategic alignment with programming goals and marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and is passionate about premium content and streaming innovation.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule and maintain the daily programming and promotional schedules for linear channels across HBO and Cinemax.
• Ensure accurate and timely export of daily program logs to Broadcast Operations for playout readiness.
• Coordinate the scheduling of trailers, extra features, and ancillary content content for HBO Max and HBO On Demand platforms.
• Track fulfillment of promo content through the entire asset supply chain, identifying and addressing bottlenecks when needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, In-Stream Promotion Planning, Global Content Planning, Product, Merchandising, and Technology teams to ensure timely and accurate promo delivery.
• Maintain and update scheduling trackers and operational documentation for visibility and accountability across teams.
• Serve as a key liaison between Marketing Operations and partner teams to ensure promotional plans are executed as intended and aligned with business goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
• 1–2 years of professional experience in linear content scheduling or linear broadcast operations
• Deep interest in entertainment, television, and the evolving streaming landscape.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.); experience with scheduling systems or content management tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement, operational efficiency, and storytelling through content.
