Your New Role...
The Production Technology Architecture team is the technical resource for several departments within the HBO/HBOMax Production group. Modernizing content workflows, writing custom software tools, and supporting delivery pipelines in the service of streamlining our production workflows. We are currently recruiting for a Post Production Engineer to work out of our NY office.
The Post Production Engineer role works with the Principal Engineer and Technology Architect in overseeing the support of all internally built tools and workflows. This position is responsible for working with internal and external partners/clients to resolve common issues with systems and software, as well as update or create documentation to disseminate those solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing both on-premise and cloud based hardware and software solutions typical of postproduction environments.
Day to day, your work will include coordinating with other internal engineering teams to provide solutions for application and workflow stakeholders, tracking and managing incoming requests for software features and improvements, and take part in analyzing and re-architecting existing technology structures for the migration to next generation solutions and standards.
Your Job Accountabilities...
• Administrator internally built software system (KeystoneMAX / Welder)
• Educate users on system features and functions
• User Management
• OKTA / MFA integration
• Track and resolve workflow issues
• Work with the Principal Engineer to develop fixes / workarounds
• Assist with software integrations to on-prem systems (Access / Premiere)
• Work with the IT department to deploy / fix on prem systems
• Educate users on new workflows in editorial / postproduction software such as Premiere, Colorfront, Resolve, IRIS and Aspera
• Documentation of Policies and Procedures
Qualifications
& Experience...
• Extremely organized and detail oriented.
• Fluent in both Mac and PC operating systems
• Expert in television postproduction process
• Experience in file transcoding in the following applications: Amberfin, Telestream, Colorfront, Radiant Grid and Content Agent
• Strong teamwork and client management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Resourcefulness and ability to work collaboratively
• Familiarity with cloud based supply chains (SDVI) would be a plus
• Some software development experience (Python) would be a plus
• Flexibility to work off hours
• Some travel required.

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $83,090.00 - $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
