Your New Role...
The Manager, Studio Business Operations will be a key member of our world-class animation studios team at Warner Bros. Animation and will report to the Director, Studio Business Operations. This role will focus on driving operational and strategic initiatives for the studio, with key responsibilities including developing, maintaining, and constantly improving the various systems, processes, tools, and strategies to improve the effectiveness of the organization across all studio functions. The role will directly interface with senior executives from key departments both inside and outside the studio to determine, align and document cross-functional business processes, project-manage the implementation of strategic studio-wide operational initiatives, and track key performance metrics to measure success.
This role will also be responsible for managing various studios tracking infrastructure, partnering with internal clients, such as HR, finance, legal production, and development to create and implement best practices, operational improvements, and automations to ensure information and processes across all departments are organized, accessible, and accurate. In addition, the Manager will work closely with both the Director and VP of Studio Business Operations on special initiatives and strategic projects for studio leadership, including the development of executive presentations, communications, financial analysis, and industry research to support key business priorities.

Your Role Accountabilities...
Tool and Process Development/ Maintenance
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize processes, tools, forms, templates, reports, and dashboards that are the backbone of studio business operations across creative and business functions.
• Support the development and improvement of existing processes and tools by partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders, serving as the Center of Excellence for business processes and improvement.
• Document, communicate and drive adoption of new processes across the studio; build cross-functional bridges and connect the dots between teams; constantly design and deliver the communication of new processes and best practices in clear, easy-to-understand presentations and visuals.
Data and Information Management
• Build, maintain and improve various studio databases in Smartsheet, including series, episodic, and longform show data, pro-forma statements, premiere and delivery dates, show assets; design custom dashboards to address specific business needs for key studio and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure studio data is properly connected to all key internal and external databases and trackers through Smartsheet automations (e.g., DataMesh) and other software tools.
• Manage compilation and delivery of weekly and monthly BU reporting.
• Be responsible for maintaining Business Operations department file tracking and shared server organization.
Business Analysis and Project Management
• Support the development of executive presentations with data-driven research, fact-based recommendations, and clear, well-designed slides.
• Analyze industry, financial, and operational data and develop business materials that communicate complex information in a clear, succinct, and compelling manner.
• Lead on the business planning, strategy, and execution of commercial music releases for the studio.
• Project manage other business initiatives, in close partnership with Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, Franchise, and cross-functional teams; coordinate with executives to develop collaboration forums and track follow-ups to ensure project completion and results.
Operational Support and Other
• Support in the planning and execution of studio events, activities, and other employee engagement efforts.
• Take lead on ad hoc special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience...
Work Experience
• 4+ Years of experience in project management, business operations or consulting.
• Relevant experience in strategy or business planning, including data & financial analysis.
• Demonstrated success in developing new processes and/or improving existing ones.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet and Excel and working knowledge of other data tools.
• Strong research skills and ability to organize, synthesize and present information.
• Self- starter with a strong desire to learn, develop, and grow.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Prior entertainment industry experience preferred but not required.
• Interest in and appreciation of animation is a must.
