OVERALL SUMMARY:
HBO's Organizational Effectiveness team provides a variety of professional development opportunities for HBO employees. The OE team's primary services are: training, leadership programs, team development and executive coaching. The Coordinator will support the Leadership Development area of the Organizational Effectiveness team.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills who regards every task as an opportunity for a strategic approach and aims to continually enhance HBO's leadership programs and events. An ability to assess current processes and propose alternative, more streamlined solutions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedule, coordinate and maintain master schedule of leadership programs and courses – internal and external
• Coordinate 360 review process (register participants, facilitate orientation, etc.)
• Assist in facilitating new hire onboarding process and orientation sessions
• Serve as an administrator for all Learn@HBO and PPR inquires
• Coordinate multi-day program event planning and logistics while ensuring appropriate décor to meet quality and brand expectations
• Support the Organizational Effectiveness team in the design and structure of such programs and events
• Assist with negotiations for space contracts and booking of event space, catering, supply and equipment ordering, etc.
• Process/register employees for leadership programs and answer routine inquiries
• Written and verbal interaction with senior leadership
• Recruit leadership program participants and maintain program database
• Oversee requests and completion of online instruments (360s, FIRO-B, DISC, etc).
• Edit all team presentations, internal/external correspondence, training materials, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 2 years of related experience
• Experience in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development preferred
• Proactive and advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Demonstrates high level of confidentiality and personal and professional maturity
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills - capacity to make connections and connect the dots
• Exhibited engagement, enthusiasm, and commitment to client service and deliverables
• Ability to foster and develop relationships with fellow HR business partners and other colleagues
• Experience working in a high impact, high volume work environment
• General administrative experience, including phones, scheduling, calendar, travel, expense reporting, etc.
