The Job
WarnerMedia seeks an Analyst, Account Mgmt for the Hotels Bulks & Institution - HBO Services-Partnership Management department.
WarnerMedia is looking for an Analyst based in New York, Atlanta or Los Angeles to provide analytical support on various projects covering HBO and HBO Max in the hotel, bulk and institutions markets. A successful candidate will have exceptional communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include in-depth data mining, analysis and reporting of subscriber data and supporting the rest of the Hotel Bulk and Institutions (HBI) team with affiliate and customer accounts, HBO/HBO Max launches and processing of incentives.
Previous experience working as a Business Analyst in the hospitality industry or on projects involving CRM software is a plus.
The Daily
• Provide day-to-day analytical support and subscriber reports to the HBI team and other internal stakeholders.
• Develop knowledge of the hospitality and bulk business, strategies, and marketing programs to successfully manage team, affiliate and customer requests.
• Maintain contact and property databases to ensure the accuracy of affiliate and hotel data.
• Research, track, and analyze industry and competitive trends; prepare summaries on key events/trends impacting WarnerMedia and the HBI team.
• Manage shared inboxes and process daily requests from key affiliates and customers.
• Act as the liaison between the HBI Team and other departments (such as IT) to field bulk-related requests and support ongoing software rollouts, product launches etc..
• Assist in creating executive-ready presentations summarizing key findings, recommendations, and evaluations of strategic opportunities based on subscriber data.
The Essentials
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting a sales team in the media, entertainment or hospitality industry or another related field.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with several deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manipulate data and provide clear, easy-to-understand reports and presentations.
• Strong work ethic, deep intellectual curiosity, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative DNA.
• Passionate about media, entertainment, or hospitality with a voracious appetite for industry news.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
