HBO Max® is WarnerMedia's direct-to-consumer platform, offering best in class quality entertainment. The streaming platform initially launched in the United States in May 2020. This year, HBO Max is scheduled to be in an additional 60 markets, launching in Latin America in June and followed by upgrades of HBO-branded streaming services in Europe.
The Job:
The operations team is a key part of the Warner Media Entertainment Technology and Operations team. They are responsible for the management of processes to ensure all content is tracked & processed (with associated metadata) to meet platform requirements. This team will receive content for HBO Max Distribution and work very closely with the EMEA Programming Operations team, Localisation Team, Metadata, Scheduling and Tech Ops. To ensure the content is processed, accessed, and ingested on time and to the Technical workflow and timelines. Managing the day-to-day media handling operation for subbing, dubbing and delivery, co-ordinates the mastering and ingest of content. Responsible for reporting on the progress of the content to the project team and product stakeholders.
What will you be doing?
• Co-ordinate with all departments to ensure Content is received in time.
• Work with localisation team to ensure orders are processed and liaise directly with dubbing studios to ensure timelines are met.
• Work with Ingest & Post Production team to planning and co-ordinating plan to ensure complete understanding of priority of content for ingest.
• Ensure all content received is to Warner Media Specs (Original Delivery Dubbed content)
• Able to prioritise content required to be processed for Ingest/Delivery (LPP/Dubbing studios).
• Work with internal partners to ensure a smooth-running operation of the media supply chain, coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure the processing of material is carried out efficiently and to deadline. – including, ordering, receipt, studio liaison, final delivery.
• Receive all duplication and dubbing orders from Programming and Sales team for shared content. Manage reception of all material from Distributors and Licensors. Prioritise and monitor content being processed through Warner Media MAM. Ensure quality and scheduled delivery of materials from studios and third parties. Check that all legal/brand compliance requirements are in place at relevant stages.
To be a contributing member of this team, you will have a mix of these skills:
• Serving as the planning and co-ordination team for content delivery/ingest/localisation.
• Ensuring all metadata is available for entry into relevant Warner Media systems
• Ensuring Warner Media Tech Specs for delivery (from distributors & dubbing studios) are met
• Providing support and expertise for queries (Across EMEA Teams) for Warner Media TMC/MAM and relevant systems (Meta)
• Utilising available reports to troubleshoot bottlenecks in all workflows – provide practical resolution.
