Your New Role
The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate and support the European streaming team in executing a communications strategy that will enhance the profile of Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming products across EMEA. The Streaming PR Manager will work closely with the regional and local teams to develop and raise awareness of and engagement with our streaming services. The Streaming PR Manager will also be a core member of the team working on the PR strategy for the launch of the new combined WBD streaming platform in 2024.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Maximise streaming press coverage in each of our EMEA's territories.
• Increase brand awareness and engagement strategically through editorial coverage of WBD's streaming content and business in all our territories across EMEA.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders on global PR alignment and reporting on tentpole titles, key events and related PR activities.
• Work closely with international stakeholders and regional EMEA PR teams on positioning content, talents and content execs locally, as well as in international trade and business publications.
• Drive awareness of the strength and breadth of all WBD streaming products, brands and strategy.
• Support a strong team of regional PR employees in developing relationships with a strong network of key journalists and influencers in all territories.
• Provide regular updates for the PR Streaming Lead EMEA, HBO Max EMEA management and WBD stakeholders on upcoming stories, opportunities, challenges, and announcements, including timing and strategy.
• Support the PR Streaming Lead in establishing best practices for the newly-combined streaming PR team in EMEA when setting up junkets, interviews and events.
Qualifications and Experience
• Solid demonstrated experience in PR
• Insight in the international film, TV and streaming industry
• Fluent English
• Creative and outgoing personality with a flexible and independent work ethic
• Excellent coordination, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Independent, proactive and result oriented
