Are you a Harry Potter fan? You will be supporting the Manager and leading the team at Kings Cross Station to deliver exceptional customer service to all, by utilising interpersonal skills, a passion for the brand, and in-depth product knowledge. Assisting and deputising for the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store including scheduling, sales analysis, and commercial reporting. Leading a team of Retail Assistants by setting a great example for customer service, etiquette, and shop presentation. You will be required to be on your feet for 8 hours per day, manual handling, and working in an exceptionally fast-paced environment.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Conducting daily team briefs to set the team up for their shift.
• Setting sales targets and reporting sales figures; motivating team toward achieving them.
• Training staff: new starters, or existing staff on new policies/procedures.
• Scheduling: making monthly rotas and daily deployment plans.
• Conducting or taking part in basic HR functions including lateness and absence monitoring and minor performance issues.
• Cash handling and management
• Replenishing stock and maintaining high standards of merchandising and housekeeping.
• Entertaining and engaging customers with product demonstration.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Flexible approach to additional working hours i.e. able to work reasonable additional hours, in line with the needs of the business.
• Enthusiasm and passion for, as well as excellent knowledge of, the Harry Potter brand.
