As a Hayden5 Post Supervisor you report to our Director of Post Production and work alongside freelance editors and staff account producers to help lead and shepherd post production projects along the pipeline. In this role you would be responsible for taking projects from the bidding phase all the way though final delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail is required in this role. You would be client-facing and handle all client communications related to the edit including creative, budget and timelines.
An ideal candidate is a great multitasker, thinks two steps ahead, knows all the details of any given project they manage and keeps calm under pressure. Post Production Supervisors are highly resourceful and very organized. This person needs to be quick on their feet, and able to handle a high volume of projects, often with tight turnarounds. The candidate's ideal background would include: full-time experience at a full-service production company, an ad agency, and/or a post-production facility focusing on producing high-budget productions, as well as high-volume, quality, one-offs or series.
The role will require knowledge and experience with budgeting and post producing digital video, short-form and commercial broadcast, and direct-to-brand publisher-centric content, with an eye on quality control and budget efficiencies.

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage 10+ different projects at any given time.
Be the main point of contact for clients for project status updates, delivery of assets and managing feedback.
Partner with edit staff and freelancers to ensure clients notes are being addressed and problem-solving as needed.
Work with the Director of Post Production to determine editorial staffing needs.
Build project calendars including creative reviews, milestones, and final delivery.
Book freelance contractors and negotiate rates to ensure projects are completed on-budget.
Runs all stages of video post production from creative to final delivery.
Maintain positive relationships with vendors and industry contacts.
Qualifications
5+ years professional experience in video post production, including significant experience as a Post Supervisor/Producer.
3+ years of direct client management experience.
General understanding of codecs and media delivery specifications.
Strong understanding of post production verbiage and workflows.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Must be adept at problem solving and thinking quickly on his/her feet.
Strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines.
Knowledge of the Adobe Suite and editing experience is a plus.
