Executive Producer/Entertainment Attorney's office is seeking a full time or part time intern with interest in film and television production, international and domestic sales, financing, marketing, publicity, distribution, and/or entertainment law. You should have a strong knowledge/interest in independent film markets, the festival circuit, production companies, and agencies. This is an exciting position for someone to help develop new projects, have input on new scripts, and learn the general development and production process. Whether you are contemplating a career in entertainment law, film and television production, or any other aspect of the entertainment industry, this position will provide you with a behind-the-scenes look at the industry from both legal and practical standpoints.
You should be an organized multi-tasker, PC and Mac proficient with Internet skills, and solid administrative and accounting skills, especially with Excel. You must be reliable, able to work in a fast paced environment, and delicately handle confidential information. Previous entertainment or legal experience is preferred but not necessary.
