To make this DREAM come true, we set out on a journey to create a special place where anyone who walks in is surrounded by all things HAPPY. Founded by Jared Paul and opened originally on November 20, 2017, this massive pop-up experience will soon open a new location and reside at the Event Deck at the iconic L.A. LIVE from April 26 - May 27, 2018. HAPPY PLACE is filled with larger than life size installations, multi-sensory immersive rooms, and dozens of moments curated to Capture Your Happy.
Who You Are:
Highly motivated professional with the ability to multi-task and turn complex problems into solutions. Able to effectively communicate with colleagues and peers and ensure proper procedures are successfully carried out and completed. Strict attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts.
Strong carpentry skills required. Experience in facility/venue operations and/or management preferred.
Responsibilities
• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors
• Pro-actively identify and solve environmental risks before they become problems
• Communicate regularly with Front of House Managers and Producers as necessary
• Lead operational decision-making for the site; coordinate with the Line Producer/Controller on proposed/estimated costs.
• Open/Close Venue on a daily basis; Be on call at all times to handle emergency operational situations.
• Maintain a safety culture that is beyond reproach
• Ability to stand on your feet for long hours and lift up to 49 pounds
• Performs hourly job functions as needed
